What makes the Feed a Veteran 5K so special? Right after you finish your race, you'll be able to pack the food that you funded through your race entry for veterans in DC. At the food packing event, we'll be packing hot meals (2 sandwiches and a cup of soup) and winter survival kits, which backpack filled with warm gloves, socks, hats, scarves, a blanket, bottled water, toiletries, a Seven-Eleven gift card, and nonperishable food items.
The meals you pack at the race will be delivered to homeless veterans on the streets of DC that afternoon.
